Day Seven - Although, they may be more "under-the-radar" than other bands on this list, don't count them out. Originating in late 2003, Day Seven has undergone many changes, resulting in front man, Chad Davis, as the only original member. Previous recordings, don't come close to reflecting what Day Seven brings to the table. I booked them once for a worship set, because they were close by and loved them so much that I booked them for a concert. Both times they played their hearts out. This band has a heart for God and between songs, instead of awkwardness, they eloquently express their love of Him. Not to mention, they are just cool guys. I look forward to seeing them again.

Several years ago a few young men from Northwest Georgia had a vision that one-day they would spread the word of Christ through their music. On September 15, 2003, their vision became reality when they united to form DaySevEn ministries. They in no way would have dreamed that after five and a half years they would still be traveling and spreading the word of God throughout the United States. Chad Davis (lead singer), Phillip Alexander (lead guitar), Dusty Brown (bass), and Tyler Martin (drums) have extraordinary testimonies about the many struggles they have overcome together, and how the results of each of those situations have made them stronger as a band.
DaySevEn is currently working on their first independent album that will be self-titled, “Traded this life for a mission.” Songs included on this album are “I belong,” Expecting grace,” and every ones favorite “Truth.” The release date is set for January 2010.
