Born in early 2010, London-based ..DAYS INDOORS (DID).. is drummer & songwriter Jean-Marc Valat's latest musical venture - far from being a solo project, the band is made up of long-time friends and fellow musicians ..Joe Killington.. ..vocals.., ..Steve Dourdil.. ..Guitars.., ..Gary Subassa.. ..Bass.., ..JM.. ..Drums.. & ..Fab.. ..Programmer/Producer... .... Boasting tunes with a .. "memorable, universal appeal"... "brewed from refined melodic musing".. (Shalinee Singh / BBC London), .."great lyrics and most importantly with bags of soul".. (Ian Sparkes / The Enfield Advertiser), DID's music is influenced by the Foo Fighters, Athlete, Incubus, Radiohead and Doves, among many others, its inspiration taken from the unexpected beauty that everyday experience sometimes brings. .... Between them, DID have worked with the likes of Chris Neil (producer of Celine Dion, Mike & The Mechanics etc), Robert Miles (world-famous writer of "Children") , Simon Boswell (producer for Blur, Leftfield etc), Stefan Olsdal (Placebo), have shared the stage with The Killers, The Pixies, James Brown, INXS among others and attracted the attention of Steve Lamacq, BBC and BMI etc. ....
