Grupo electro-minimalpunk(live act) , testimonio de lo que es una abducción sonora , un escape de la realidad total, inconformismo social, fusionado con ritmos rotos y repetitivos, melodías sintéticas y muchísima fuerza en vivo que llega al desborde craneoencefálico en una inmersa catarsis subcutánea... De Molina de Segura a Murcia pasando por Mozambique.
Grupo formado en 1998 por Jesús aka resset y juanjo carrasco, que empiezan como dúo , tocando por las raves de toda la zona mediterránea, Alicante y Murcia, organizadas por PAL y F.M.P(Free Minds Parties)de Alicante ,mas tarde se incorpora al grupo dj Gotxa y MC Roger, este ultimo como cantante de grupo. El éxito, los aplausos del público y un verano de éxtasis y amor... anima a estos chicos a salir a tocar por diferentes festivales de música electrónica como el de Denia en el 2001,MACMA Orihuela 2002,FASE 0.5 Festival de Cartagena en 2005,FUSION FESTIVAL LEIZPIG (Alemania)2005,LOVE SOUND FESTIVAL 2008 compartiendo escenario con MARk BROOM ,CRISTIAN WUNSCH y el japones KEN ISHII ,y artistas nacionales como ASCII DISKO ,DJ SIDERAL,PUTILATEX... Daytona ha tokado en salas de Alicante como Ovuca,Swing, Panoramix,Metro Dance Club ,The luxe en Albacete,y en casi todos los clubs de techno de Murcia como ON disco,THC,Fluid, MOSS,OCIO,CELESTE ,CIELO CLUB,Electrolove (Reset),Mundaka Club, Elephunk, Loft, Sinfin up (ON), Nuevo garaje de la Tía Maria, El Siete,Baobab,...ETC
raves Badmusic en Ibiza,Pamplona y Murcia ,raves de el Colectivo Electrical en la manga,fiestas I.T.I en cartagena etc...
El dúo empieza su andadura musical en el 92 con Los Marrones, un grupo punk rock , tokando temas de Sex Pistols, Ramones , the Doors , Nirvana y hasta Alan Parson Project ....hasta que sin saberlo descubren la electrónica en la Nitsa Club de Barna la cual denominan por su ignorancia (ritmos de batería con sonidos) lógico viniendo de un batería (Jesús) y un cantante (juanjo) comienzan a hacer música electrónica en el 97 con Rebirth 338 y después de un año y cansarse del ratón se pillan una Mc 505 roland y una Mc 303 , de ahí al midi y todo lo de después Mc 909,dr 202,sp 808,elektron machinedrum ,sh 32 roland ,korg triton le64, korg electribe em1 y ar1,jomox xbase 09,korg electribe sx,mc 09,tr 606,acces virus,final scratch y algunos bichos más, que hacen tener una nave espacial mas que un estudio.
En el 2005 hacen su Europa con otro projecto ,llamado projecto x2, ramon mayor aka poolar y juanjo carrasco (daytona vs poolar)minimal techno ,un live act con el ke se presentan en el fusion festival en la ciudad de Leizpig Alemana,tokando con numerosos artistas internacionales como , A GUY CALLED GERALD, PACOU, LUCIANO, MAGDA , MIA, JOHN TEJADA, TRANSGLOBAL UNDERGROUND,
invitados por el HOMOELEKTRIK KOLLEKTIV ( BOYS..R..US, DEMIAN,RESOM,..tambien pudieron disfrutar de un live act de GOTXA de minimal experimental ,ESTE MATERIAL SE HA RECOGIDO EN UN DVD QUE HA PRODUCIDO EL PROPIO FESTIVAL Y DICHO COLECTIVO. Este mes de mayo/07 Vuelven a BERLIN a presentar su nuevo trabajo con sonidos mas nítidos,en PULP MANSION Y LUBBENAU.

Sep del 07 DAYTONA ,PUTILATEX y DIRTY PRINCESS en directo, Bizarre Party
Una alternativa de ocio recorre las salas más selectas de España: espectáculos transgresores, música electro, extravagancia y desenfado en directo sacian los paladares más exigentes de ambos sexos.
Bizarre Party es el primer live show de estas características que se realiza en Murcia, un espectáculo que mezcla la performance y el electro punk de la mano de Dirty Princess ,Putilatex y Daytona los grupos más representativos del electroclash en España.
En feb del 2007 daytona conoce a repajaro otro joven productor se comienza a crear un LIVE ACT minimaltechno basado en el diálogo a través de midi entre su hardware repleto de patrones y los temas producidos por Repajaro caracterizados por un minimal empañado de techno muy directo reproducidos por su macbook y controlados por la uc 33e.
Daytona comienza el 2008 con nuevos temas, nuevo sonido,nuevas incorporaciones como
SANTA CRUZ, experto bateria ,incorporando al directo un toke más analógico, minimal punk rapido y cañero¡¡¡
22 de feb en MUNDAKA CLUB ,sala en la ke tienen una residencia con el Colectivo DINAMO de molina insegura,participando con su live en la fiesta DINAMO-ELECTROSPLASH celebrada en murcia .
25 -05 -08 el colectivo dinamo y pornografi-k presentan el sello OVUM RECORDS en mundaka club con NICHOLAS WOOD/OVUM RECORDS con el ya habian coincidido en fluid hace unos años.
Y PROXIMAMENTE ACTURAN EN EL PERMISSIVE FESTIVAL 20 DE sep EN METRO DANCE CLUB.
