I LOVE MUSIC. I bought a guitar in July of '05 and been trying to teach myself how to play since then. It's kind of my hobby for me and i love it.
I played basketball so obviously thats an interest of mine. I love eating. I didn't realize how much i loved it until i started watching what i eat. Mtn. Dew is the greatest drink ever and thats my ultimate weakness i think.
I love the beach, and the lake. when i'm at the lake i usually go wakeboarding. i just like being out in the sun.
one of my fav. things to do though is to travel.
Just give me some money and some time and i'm going somewhere.
Music
I don't discriminate on genre of music too much. I usually love anything that has a soul to it. I'm not talking soul music but anything where i feel like the artist is putting themselves out there and letting you get a piece of their heart. That seems to be the type of music that moves people. That's what I like, music that moves me. It can move me in any direction as long as it moves me. Lately I've been listening to more chill stuff. Ray Lamontagne, Ryan Adams, Casados. I always go back to early 90's Alternative like Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, STP. I'm not against Pop music although I find it rare that I really like a Pop song. I like it more when a pop artist matures and writes and records their own stuff. I heard a couple of Leann Rymes new songs that she wrote and it was like there was something to the songs behind that voice of hers, it was like she was human and I could relate to her. Music is one of the things that I could talk to somebody about for a really long time. That Basketball and Jesus are my best topics of conversation. Some artists I love off the top of my head: Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Blind Melon, Led Zeppelin, Elton John (Madman Across the Water cd), Nerina Pallot, James Taylor, Drive-by Truckers, Sigur Ros, Incubus, Radiohead, John Mayer, Tool, Third Day, Hillsong United, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Guns-n-Roses, Bon Jovi, Allman Brothers Band, Dave Matthews Band, Dispatch, O.A.R., David Gray, Damien Rice, and many many more.
Movies
Legends of the Fall, A Place in the Sun, Splendor in the Grass, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Gladiator, i am easy to please in the movie dept. i like chick flicks, horror films, musicals, action, and comedy. pretty much if it keeps my attention i like it. But if it stirs something inside of me then whoa watch out i love it.
Television
don't watch it much. if i got it i usually put the tv on the music stations b/c they have no commercials and just play whatever genre music that i'm feeling at that time.

Heroes
The One and only JESUS CHRIST. I mean he was crucified so i could be forgiven of my sins. how awesome is that. b/c i have given my life to the Lord all i have to do is ask for forgiveness of my sins and its a done deal. So i'm going to heaven b/c JC died for me. now thats a hero.
About me: How do I put myself in a nutshell? Well first off, I am a follower of Jesus Christ knowing him as the Lord and Savior of my life. That is something that I am growing in daily and it is not an easy thing but it is the most joyful thing I have known.
I am going to keep it pretty general here. I will have to do some blogs on some of my deeper thoughts on the things I am doing now. So I am 23 male from Birmingham, AL currently in Los Angeles, CA. I like long walks on the beach, poetry readings, candle lit dinners, and roses… Okay, no I don’t. Seriously, I am a former college basketball player and graduate at the University of Montevallo which is in AL. The longer I am away from basketball and sports the more I appreciate all that I experienced. So, I no longer have basketball to hang my hat on, although I still try to a lot, which I hate, but I guess that’s what washed up athletes do.
I am a dreamer, I am always thinking up of things that could be done, or that need to be done. I am now trying to put some of the dreams with plans and make them happen.
I am very laid back. I would rather have a few close friends and hang out and really get to know them rather than hang out with tons of people and only get to know them a little bit. I love to ask hard questions. The kind of questions that make you think.
A good book, with great music and a day to get lost in a story is amazing to me. Live music with people who just enjoy the music, with people who aren’t on an agenda of getting someone for themselves is a wonderful night. Nothing beats the perfect playlist in the car with the windows down, no traffic and no place to go, just you and the road.
I love my family and friends and miss them. Especially my lil’ sis. Haven
kinda lame profile but you gotta have something right?

Who I'd like to meet: there's not really any people that i care to meet, i'm not really one of those kind of people that wish they knew famous people or anything. I like the people i know and i will meet great people in the future.
♥Just an FYI
to let you know that I'm back on MS and wanted to say Hello to you my
beautiful friend. Know that you and your friendship was missed!
Please accept my
humble thankfulness for your comments, kindness, love, prayers,
thoughts and encouraging words while I was away. You so rock!!! I've
been gone longer than originally planned and just noticed that there
are quite a few friends missing from my page that were originally
here. I'm not sure if my page got hacked into or if I was dropped...
either way, my sincere apologies go out to those who are no longer
with me...
I will be
blogging soon about my time off “mini Sabbatical” - especially
the horrible/funny story about my fish aquarium mishap. I look
forward to talking with you again and catching up! Let me know how
you are too.
My soul is quiet as I sit in silence watching as Peach blossoms follow the moving water; Taking in the blue skies, beautiful green foliage on the massive trees.
Here I sit, in a place I call a little slice of heaven on earth, beyond the world of men.

Authorities arrested Alabama head coach Nick Saban in the predawn hours Monday at his home in Tuscaloosa on animal cruelty charges.
Saban, 56, was charged with 85 counts of animal cruelty in an alleged attack which occurred Saturday night in Athens, Georgia.
Police said that as many as 92,138 witnesses saw Saban and a large group of violent young men under his control hit, kick, crush and destroy a large pack of mostly-docile bulldogs.
One officer was quoted as saying, "I haven't seen bulldogs treated this Badly since the Michael Vick case".
