About Daywalker

Daywalker Acoustic, is the brainchild of Barry Waring and Dave Robinson of Merseyside based band Daywalker. Appearing at almost every open mic and jam night in the northwest of England, the duo have been receiving fantastic feedback about the songs and, have been overwhelmed by the popularity of their music.

This band knows how to engage a crowd- not only with great original songs and musical talent, but also with committed enthusiasm to entertain. It was a stunning performance, which I won't ever forget. How many bass players do you know who will get down from a stage to dance and play simultaneously among the crowd? We all loved this quality band and would like to hear more, if only there was more time.

The night was a massive success! and thanks to those of you who bought a copy from the first batch. Thanks again Dave and all of the Daywalker's.
Dave Robinson	Jul 1 2007 2:33 AM Hi Guys Me and DAYWALKER will play the Liverpool Barfly this monday night at 8:00pm, in front of some very important record industry people. These people will be kind of "undercover" so as to not get bothered by bands etc, and we really need as many of you there as possible to support us! We will play 30 mins supporting an up and coming signed band from London called Assembly Now, and its £6 on the door or £4 with a flyer. Flyers are available from any member of the band or the Barfly itself. Also, our debut album which has taken a year to record, will be released at long last this Monday, the 2nd of July (same day as the gig) and it will be on the shelves and available from Skeleton Records in Birkenhead at a cost of only £4.99, as well as other selected shops across the Northwest such as HMV and Virgin. Thanks for the support as we move everything up a pace, and please keep checking our official website for updates on gigs etc (the link to it is on my page) Cheers Dave

I liked Barry's harmonies and I definitely think you should incorporate more of them. Clive and I both thought your voice, Dave, and your songs were reminiscent of Justin Hayward, from the Moody Blues (in other words classy). I think maybe - just maybe - we could have you play some gigs with us down south here again! Clive has some decent footage of your two sets. Amanda DeAngeles	Nov 7 2006 6:18 PM Daywalker - the acoustic division is comprised of Dave Robinson, lead-vocal and Barry Waring, rhythm guitar. The duo is part of a 5pc band of the same name. Their songs are simply effective and Dave’s vocal is triple-layered. He is able to spiral a straight vocal into vibration and lead into booming rock simultaneously. I’ll consider them in more depth after I’ve seen the entire Wirral-based band in action.
