Daz has been a musician since the age of 11, and been fully professional since 18. Been through the ups and downs of being in touring bands, playing gigs all over the UK and across most of Europe, stadiums, regattas, theatres, festivals, pubs, clubs. And over the last few years has become THE Wedding singer!!! Playing for parties of all nature and Corporate events. As people seem to enjoy his humour, passion and his way of reading an audience to get everyone to party!! He also has supported many top bands, one of the top days of the year is the gig at supporting THE WURZELS!! Usually Pete Budd and Tommy Banner, who have befriended Daz get up an perform a mini-set of classics! (See my pics) Although location this year may be changed.
Also under his belt are a few television appearances, most recently in an episode of "MIDSOMER MURDERS" of which Daz was a bass player in a rock band, who played at the wake of the deceased manor owner!! (picture above in slideshow with the band "Bitch" and John Nettles)
Over the years, Daz has produced around 100 of his own songs, The Words, which is featured here was taken from the 2001 album "Common People" The song was co-written with Phil Hennessy.
Daz supports the Bristol family run charity NICOLA CORRY SUPPORT FOUNDATION (please check out their sites) They now have a myspace site (click on the pink logo in top friends) on there is Two songs "Facing Chemo Again" and "Feelings" which were both original poems by Nicola Corry, Daz has put music to these and they are on that site.
unfortunately Nicola died from cancer and her family are still running a charity in her name to help young families diagnosed with cancer who have young children, and organise regular fundrasing events for more details check by clicking on link underneath http://www.ncsf.org.uk
