CW Allen Jr. also known as DA Zeal is on of the most sought after Hip- Hop Artist in Ohio. His music started three years ago when his accountability group, "Bruthahood" began to freestyle for recreation.
Today, that accountability has grown into an independent record label, Bruthahood Records. Heavily influenced by Scriptures and situations, Zeal combines complex production from EQ inc. with biblical principals to create a unique hip-hop style of music that reachs to all generations. Zeal has been a featured artist throughout the region and the country.
The goals of his freshmen project, "Zeal for the King" are to share the hope of Christ with the lost and to encourage believers to press on towards holy living. He is best known for one of his testimonial songs "Engaged" which received over 1000 plays on Myspace.
Da Zeal is an active member at Scranton Road Bible Church where he is involved with the praise team, Youth Ministry and Youth for Christ. In the Spring of 2009, he plans to pursue a Bachelors Bible and Pastoral Studies.
