Well the album is finally available. It's been totally re-mixed and re-packaged. We are no longer known as Mobstar or Daz Rigo. The record company renamed us ERUPTION (probably because we blew them away lol). I believe it is available to purchase in major stores in Japan and Europe. Unfortunately, their is no distributer in Australia yet, so if you want it, you will have to order online at one of these outlets listed below. The story of Daz Rigo (now called ERUPTION) began in Australia, where founding members Darren & Santi formed a band in Brisbane under the name of “Mobstar”. After deciding that there was more opportunity in the United Kingdom, Santi & Daz flew to the Britain, enduring cold winters, soaring living costs and bad driving from the natives, all for the love of rock ‘n’ roll and to chase their dream of fame & fortune!
Now, having left the “Mobstar” brand behind, and having gone under the band’s new name of “DAZ RIGO”, the guys have been building a solid foundation from their new home of London, recently agreeing terms & conditions of a management contract with Rock Of Ages Entertainment, and the guys have recently been speaking with record labels such as Incensed Records about a possible recording contract.
In September, the band will be playing Rock of Ages Fest, supporting former Iron Maiden vocalist Blaze Bayley, and the legendary Wolfsbane at The Palace in Tamworth. The band are looking into taking a coach-load of people to that gig, and are hot on the promotion trail for this and future events, especially with a release planned in time for filling your Christmas stockings!!
Things seem to be going well for the lads, who have already proven popular with many of the people who have come across the music, and with the gigs list growing, the band are surely a band on the move!
Drawing on influences from great 80's bands like White Snake, Guns N Roses, Harem Scarem, Dokken, King's X, Stryper, Skid Row, Motley Crue, Kiss, Ac/dc etc, “Daz Rigo” are the hottest property in London’s music scene, but soon to become the hottest property in the European music scene!
