From the Land of Oz, come D.B. Cooper & the Hard Cash Band. Formed in the spring of 2008, this fearless foursome fuses a mix of Outlaw Country, Blues, & the Southern Rock. Born and raised in the sticks of Kansas, we’ve set out across the country with one common goal….to get YOUR feet stompin’.
As musical chemistry would have it, the band has become popular across the Midwest for their unique style of sound, known as rocking country. The rhythm & bass of their upbeat songs are matched with exciting lead guitar breaks and fantastic folk-lyrical story telling. The songs do all but force you to put on your shit-kickers and dance right along.
Recently the band self-produced their first full length album, Basement Jams Vol. 1. Volume 1 is 60 minutes of original music, ranging in styles from grunge to country. D.B. Cooper & the Hard Cash Band is currently writing new songs for their next album, while maintaining a steady touring schedule throughout Eastern Kansas.
Since beginning their quest for infamy, they have stumbled into venues across Kansas & Missouri. They’ve had the good fortune of playing venues such as the Bottleneck & the Granada in Lawrence, Kansas. Also, the band has been spotted at Knukleheads & the Beaumont Club in Kansas City, Missouri!
