The impending downfall of the landed gentry's plutocracy, the coming worker's revolution, the rotten core at the center of "urban renewal." Also, Thin Lizzy. Also, we take pride in being yet another in a long line of four-letter abbreviation bands like DMBQ, TSOL, NRBQ, WASP, INXS, KISS, umm...ENYA? CHER.
It was a serene night at Jones Beach Amphitheater. Motorhead had played. Heaven and Hell had kicked some ass and the mighty Judas Priest were laying down the metal pretty hard. Adam and Mike were blown away and inspired by that and other events of that evening to form a new band; a band interested in not fucking around. A band that played Drunken Belligerent Confrontational Rock. All through the ride home on the LIRR they plotted and schemed and within days, had enlisted the services of Ken, former bassist of Awkward Thought, former mastermind behind The Maladjusted and Exit Records (not the Wreck-Age subsidiary,) as well as former frontman for Red Tape, New York City's worst punk band. Mike later reached out to his friend Jason and the four set forth. After searching briefly, the four were blessed by the coming of the fifth, and perhaps most important piece, Alex the drummer...
