Dead by First Light comes from Lawton, Oklahoma.Formed in 2007, the band has been through several incarnations, finally settling on its current line-up in 2011. Sonically, the group's music ranges from epic, sweeping melodies to the nastiest of brutal, metallic breakdowns, which never fail to whip up a frenzy of chaos whatever the venue. Visually, the stage performance is a war, with every member of the crowd a casualty. Few bands possess the raw energy present in a DBFL show, and even fewer still the shear primal intensity each member brings to the stage. Collisions, sweat, beer, blood, and, more often than not, visceral damage can be expected from each outing with these boys, making each performance nothing short of the best party of the year. Comfortable in their musicianship and presence on stage, Dead By First Light is looking to take over the scene with each and every show they play.
