I just recently learned that Psychic Santa Clause's own Bob Jones played in the Devil Bell Hippies(the other DBH) after he left us. Read my most recent blog for more details about Psychic Santa Clause. Weasel Walter was also in Devil Bell Hippies with Bob.
could you use some help with that? i know of a homeless bumble bee alcoholic that is looking for some gigs around town, he plays all covers and likes to help put shows together that are noisy. your friend, dennis ray powell jr.
Yes I like jazz. Especially noisy and free played jazz as yours. Nice what you work out with your instruments! And opening a beer (or was it coke?) can when you are playing is always funny....
I would say: Happy to know you! Very rare to have a jazz band in his profile full of strange electronics!
I just remembered that Chicago's No Wave Scene used to have another DBH: Devil Bell Hippies, going all the way back to 1985. Lee Grobin, later the author of the world's longest poem, was associated with them. As was Paul Paredes who later went on to be in roughly half of all of my bands. Last I heard he was in the band Mucus which had a midget drummer and they hung out with Tom Savini. The other DBH was even more mysterious than Bloomington's(or Asheville,Flint, etc) when it came to band members having names. The Coughs should have told you there already was another DBH. Maybe you should change your name to DBH No. 1 or something.
DBH was a Negus(king) of Aksum 230-240 AD. Aksum was the precursor to Ethiopia. DBH was the direct descendant of King Solomon and Queen of Sheba, as well as ancestor to Haile Selassie. DBH is pronunced Azaba or Adhebah.
