I used to call it Musique Concrète, but almost no one in the USA knew what I was talking about. So now I just call it Sound Collage. I dig long tones and as I grew tired of knobs and wires, I picked up the didgeridoo. More fun to jam with than a computer. Telling stories is one of my major interests, sometimes I use words.
The first Outspan CD, Arcana, is now available from CD Baby. It contains a collection of eletro-acoustic pieces composed in collaboration with my long time friend Conor Dowling.
This album of stories from Ovid's Metamorphoses read by Chris Turner and set to music is available from CD Baby. This CD contains what we think are some of the best stories in the book and it was nominated for the 2009 Just Plain Folks Music Awards in the Story Telling category. If you love the classics, check it out.
I have re-released a CD of feedback based drone music called Stationary Drift. It is now available on CD Baby. It was an important early CD for me, I developed many techniques for it that I have continued to use over the years.
