With the composure of a seasoned businessman, "Stone" is the
personification of hard work. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana to a single parent home,
his hunger for success has propelled him from a street life, to one of multiple business
ventures. While managing an artist for his colleague Souljah Slim, Stone found himself
facing his own musical fate during recording sessions. Thereafter, music has provided a
medium of which to tell his story as a living legend, and his lyrics are a soundscape
of ghetto questions and answers. A former Cash Money recording artist, Stone has
recorded with a plethora of artists from Cash Money's Hot Boys, Big Tymers, and
Juvenile, to T.I. and Mac 10. He's been featured on over five platinum-selling albums
and has worked with a number of mega-producers including Mannie Fresh and Jazze Pha.
With his solo debut on indefinite hold, Stone proactively made the necessary moves to
take control of his career. He left Cash Money Records with an insider's education on
the business of making music, and thereafter launched his own record label Dboyz
Entertainment.
"Lac" is a New Orleans storyteller with tales of tragedy and triumph, where names are
not changed to protect the innocent. He writes tales of Saratoga St. and Erato, the
corner of his birth in the infamous Third Ward of New Orleans, Louisiana. Lac learned
to hustle on that corner, and to rhyme. Eventually a childhood friend and neighbor Brian
"Baby" Williams from Cash Money Records, invited him to join the business. As a member
of the flashy label, Lac toured the world, made major television network appearances,
recorded with platinum selling artists, and co-wrote the smash hit 1 Stunna. From 1998
to 2003, Lac patiently awaited his own solo debut to no avail. During the interim he
mastered his craft and supported label mates, all without receiving the attention he
deserved. He eventually separated from Cash Money Records to become Co-CEO of his own
record label along with Stone, Dboyz Entertainment.
Having collectively developed an impressive resume which boasts appearances on the
Apollo and Jimmy Kimmel show, writing chart-topping singles, working with
platinum-selling artists and producers, and landing their own distribution deal through
MDI, the Dboyz are poised for major success with the 2008 release of Life of a Dboy.

WHAT'S UP D-BOYZ? I CAME BY TO LEAVE YOU SOME LOVE.. WHY DO WE HAVE TO PRAY? AS JESUS PRAYED, THE DISCIPLES FELL ASLEEP BECAUSE THEY WERE TIRED. THEY DIDN'T REALIZE THE DANGER THEY WERE IN, AND THAT JESUS WOULD SOON BE ARRESTED. IF THEY HAD KNOWN THESE THINGS, THEY WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SLEEP. WE NEED TO BE AWARE-BUT NOT FEARFUL-OF THE DANGERS WE ALWAYS FACE IN THE WORLD. THE ANSWER TO DANGER IS PRAYER.
