I am a published writer, mostly fiction but also cross into creative non-fiction, whatever that may be. I am interested in watching how others grapple with the problems of their daily lives. I like to notice details that most are not conscious of. I want to know what makes my heart beat. I enjoy miracles that have nothing to do with religion. Reading consumes my life, I hope to be reading when I'm on my death bed. Also watching Kate and Johannah grow and thrive.
I read books all day and will never die until I've read everything I want to read.

About me: "I know my own nation best. That's why I despise it the most. And I know and love my own people too, the swine. I'm a patriot. A dangerous man." --Edward Abbey. I started life as a child.
I worked for Allen Ginsberg during the 1980s in NYC and various small used bookstores scattered across Manhattan, including the late, great Brazenhead on east 84th street. I also worked at Rolling Stone when they were still on Fifth avenue and remember spitting off the balconey of the 27th floor. I moved back to Ohio in the 90s to watch my parents pass on to the next world. My dad's last words were an OJ Simpson joke, he died before he could utter the punchline. I come from a long line of gypsys and scribblers, many of my heroes have died but live on in my mind. I carry on the great Breithaupt scribbling tradition. Words and debt are all I will leave behind.*************4)
I have high blood pressure.I ate too many carbs in prison. I learned some Polish from a fellow inmate and now Ja mowie po polsku.I know how to light a cigarette with a microwave oven. I should be invited on Letterman any day now.5)
Norman Mailer almost punched me once.****
I wrote letters to Picasso when I was a kid and he never wrote back.*******
I was never good at sports in school so I smoked marijuanna and drank lots of beer.*********
I am a million dollars in debt from civil and federal lawsuits initiated by cowards and frauds. If you have any extra money, I would be happy to take it and pay it against my federal restitution. Thank you in advance.******
"Boys of harsh discipline, nameless actors, chained and brilliant, from the grand musical that will always occupy the mental theater, with no hope of change, have always mysteriously evoked for me certain theoretical beings, whom I interpret as key-bearers, possessing the clues to situations." Andre Breton, L'Anour Fou.
I write everyday because as Jack Kerouac said, "I wote this book cause we're all gonna die" My words will be all that will be left of me when I am gone. At least I won't have to put them through college.*******6)
I am a happy man, love my kids and am never bored. I hope you have this same fortune. May you live in interesting times...

Dear Sehnsuchtgeweiht, It's after Halloween and the busy holidays are approaching. Take a break and drop by to listen to my featured songs. You may find my music to be just the calm you need during this hectic time of the year. I appreciate your friendship and I hope you enjoy the music. I wish you much joy and peace.
Hello. I thought of you (although I know you only vicariously through Charles Plymell and via reading your MySpace info) this morning while I was listening to your ole boss (Ginsberg) read the work of 2 poets on the subject of capital punishment via UBU audio. That made me think of the guys out on Death Row that I visit here in Nashville and about you since you mentioned your past incarceration and then I thought about living outside the walls but in a sort of prison within one's self.
Naturally, my mind landed on Mary Shelley (you have her listed as 'would like to meet') and I thought about how her name was perceived and abhorred in the same manner by society as the face of Frankenstein's monster. I know Mary had a hard life and she read with the same vigor as you seem to and she read many books that helped to create a place in her mind where she was not chained. Like the monster, she suffered hurt.
In his memoir, Mary's Dad wrote so many hurtful things and regarding her falling in love with the then-married Percy Mary's Dad stated she, "committed a crime against hallowed social arrangements, morality, her family.."
When her Father's words echoed, as she read the most hurtful book of that era (his memoirs) surely that was the very moment she locked herself inside her personal prison and became a "fish." She was ostracized by society...much like prisoners and former prisoners are so often cast out in our society. She was so intent and dedicated to studying and researching it was no wonder that the monster in her book was so well read. His life seemed to reflect her's I feel since she wrote about the books the monster read.
I find your mind to be very unique. You are one interesting person! -Ginger Killian Eades
