Every Monday morning from June to October hedonistic clubbers are lured to DC10 for the carnival-like atmosphere of Circo Loco, the all-day long afterhours started by Italians Antonio and Andrea Pelino back in 1999. Circo Loco means crazy circus and it's the party where the beautifully wasted come together in Ibiza. Besides the colourful characters (some might even say caners) who make Circo Loco what it is, there are also its resident DJs who spin underground house and techno alongside the international guest DJs who hound Andrea and co. for an invitation to play.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: AREA EVENT TO REFUND TICKETHOLDERS FOR CIRCO LOCO AT NOCTURNAL TERRACE MIAMI USA!

The authorities shut down Circo Loco at Nocturnal Terrance in Miami on Saturday, March 28, 2009. Produced by Area Event and DNF Booking Crew by arrangement with William Morris Electronic for Winter Music Conference 2009, the night was supposed to give Miami partygoers a taste of the Circo Loco Ibiza experience.
But the session could not continue; by 3:00AM, the Miami Police Department appeared at Nocturnal to request that the music be lowered, which the club then did. Later on, the police requested the volume be lowered more, but as the officers exited, they were still not satisfied with the volume levels. Despite the producers' best efforts to come to an agreement with the police, they ultimately returned at 3:50AM and sentenced the club to a complete lockdown.
Unfortunately, the actions that unfolded were beyond the control of Area Event or Circo Loco. But more importantly, the ticketholders should not have suffered.
Area Event apologizes for the premature shutdown. Area will refund the ticketholders who had purchased tickets for the event, and were not able to enter the venue before 4:00AM on March 29th. They can email support@wantickets.com with their name and information. In addition, Area Event will give free tickets to all ticketholders for Saturday night’s Circo Loco party at Nocturnal Terrace for a special future event.
