We are called the Freak Show for one reason:We have many influences. We take a "no boundries approach" to our song selection. What that means is: in the course of an evening with the Freak Show you might hear some Alice in Chains, then you might hear some Willie Nelson. You might hear some Merle Haggard, Then you might hear some Kiss. We will play everything from Lenny Kravitz, Johnny Cash, Bob Seger, Waylon Jennings, AC/DC, Joan Jett, The Beastie Boys, Tesla, Queen, Dr. Hook, and BuckCherry during the course of set, much less and evening!!!! It is all over the place and random as hell, but believe us, IT WORKS!!!! We believe good music is good music no matter what style it may be. So come to a show, grab a beer, strap in, and rock the hell out!!

Derby City Freak Show is an out of sight assualt on the senses. The band is high energy, and consists of some of the most recognizable musicians from Louisville, KY over the last 10-15 years. Members include Dave Moody, who is also a member of Billy Ray Cyrus, as well as Wyndell Williams and Chico, all of which were the foundation of Louisville's best and biggest cover band, Jefferson Tarc Bus. The band also has one of the more dynamic frontmen in some time in Steve Bell. Steve has been a mainstay on the Metal Legends Tour, and was the performer doing his unique impersonation of David Lee Roth. He also worked with national recording musicians Leatherwolf and Jack Frost, writing and performing on their original outakes. The band is tight, funny and you are always guaranteed a great time. More importantly, they involve the crowd by engaging them in all kinds of craziness. They also play a wide variety of songs from all eras of music . Everything from Bob Seger to BuckCherry, Johnny Cash to AC/DC and The Eagles to Twisted Sister. This band has no boundaries, and the party goes on all night long. Simply put, if you want a party, this is your band!!
