Biography

D-Clash’s first musical interests go back as far as his childhood days when he secretly would play the records of his father on his Technics turntable. From that day, where he putted the needle on the record for the first time, music grabbed D-Clash by the balls at such a stage that he couldn’t imagine spending a single day without playing some nice tunes. D-clash’s love for electronic dance music began when he was a 15-year-old party animal who would sneak out of the house to go and enjoy the regular underground techno & drum ‘n bass parties in his hometown. 3 Years and many parties later D-clash finally moved to Ghent. This city really had a great impact on D-Clash as it has a great tradition in electronic music, clubbing and bringing forth influential Dj’s like the glimmers and 2 many Dj’s, both ex-residents at the world famous Culture Club. Although D-Clash can be found in this fantastic club on a regular base it was that other great club called the Decadance that stole his heart at first. Here it was, back in 2004, were D-Clash walked in, discovered true house music and would shake his ass until the sun rised. It was at that point D-Clash realised that music was the answer, so he kicked out his mixer made of lego blocks ;-) bought himself some real professional equipment and started mixing music like a mad man.

In August 2006 D-Clash moved to France where he got in touch with and influenced by the crème de la crème of the French electro & house scene. After almost a year of partying, spinning records and being a part of the French music scene D-Clash returned to Belgium with his bags filled with exciting tunes that will make the crowd dance until their feet hurt!

Nowadays, after hitting the turntables for nearly 6 years, D-Clash rocks the Belgian dance floors with Dj-sets that cross over between dirty electro, ass kicking house tunes, french touch, fidget, fascinating classics and that all spiced up and served with some mash-ups and killer vocals to give you that complete overwhelming orgasm of sounds. Ps: Besides playing at electro & house parties I also have a history in playing at studentparties/bars where I play more commercial & all around music. You can expect your crowd to go wild on an eclectic party mix of R&B, Top 40, Ambi, Club & House.
