THE NEW YORKER's Blurbs |
About me:
IN A NUTSHELL: The New Yorker is a reality show that follows the life of David Owens. In life, it is not always as important “WHO” you know, but rather, “WHO” knows you. Everyone knows The New Yorker. In New York, he is the “A” list. If he is there, it’s “A” list. Much like the President, whatever aircraft he gets on, it becomes “Air force One”. New York City is the most difficult place in the world to get access to the top restaurants, Clubs, and parties, etc... Not for The New Yorker. Table waiting for him, parking space reserved with cones out front and like “Norm” from Cheers; everyone knows his name. Best seats at the game and theatre always with backstage access; Credentials for the Super bowl and you find yourself on the field at half time; Oscar Party, no problem. Red Carpet, please!!! Movie Premiere, fashion Shows, Private clubs, Sporting events, V.I. P. access all the way. The list goes on… His status as The New Yorker transcends, as in on the Twilight Zone, “TIME & SPACE”, therefore, realizes the same privileges worldwide. From the Harvard MBA to the strippers from Scores, The New Yorker is single and surrounds himself with beautiful women. Born and raised in NYC he is as New York as it gets… walk in his shoes and find out.
THE TWIST: The New Yorker hangs out with many celebrities, but it is usually, The New Yorker who possesses all of the status and juice, not the celebrity. Many celebrities have no idea that they may find themselves waiting outside the velvet ropes. They have no idea that they cannot get a reservation at the top restaurants. Cannot get a great suite at the Palms in Vegas when there is not a room to be had! The New Yorker status trumps Celebrity, often! So it is not uncommon for the celebrity (as well as common folk), to call upon the New Yorker for his help. If The New Yorker’s world were a movie, he would be the star and many times the stars (celebrities) are the extras. In addition, it is very interesting to see how celebrities are so normal when it comes to their everyday lives. The show will give insight to the “person” and not the celebrity. It is very surprising to most, how much celebrities are like the rest of the population, when they are not in the spotlight.
