Nice to see you have Bat Pig Pictures up and running! And yes, the name will leave a lasting impression. I'm starting a production company myself with a group of talented individuals and investors called Malbec Gold Productions. Our first project is a drama/comedy/reality series, which we'll begin shooting by the end of the month. As well, I've been finishing up a feature length Spec script, started working on another with a fellow writer (about shape-shifters called "The Pit"... cool!) and helping out Wayne Spitzer with his script adaptation of Algernon Blackwood's "The Willows" And yes, I will finally get around to shooting that damn short film sometime in March! Finally!
Before making "Last Stop Station," "Shadows in the Garden" and "Monstersdotcom," filmmakers Wayne Spitzer and Andy Kumpon cut their teeth on this low-budget SF series shot in Spokane and Seattle in the mid 1990s.
Two security officers employed by the mysterious Viktor Corporation encounter strange phenomena and dimensional portholes while keeping the general population in the dark.
Admired for its low-budget ingenuity and quirky monsters but reviled for its slow pacing (they had to stretch shots to meet deadline) and ad-libbed dialogue, it gained a modest cult following in the Northwest.
Sometimes inspired, often ridiculous but always unique, "Dead of Night" hopes to make you chuckle at least.
12 episodes plus custom ads and miscellany. Check back often for updates as we are in the process of uploading the entire catalog.
