the band started in the spring of 99´ with members of Lies and Distrust.As a three piece the band recorded a demo tape that later came out as an EP on Insane society records..then for a short while we had a female vocalist Tamera.With her we recorded the material for the split EP with Canadas Existench..after Tamera, Dan took over the vocals and Ethan joined on the 2nd guitar but the bass player left...we recorded the stuff for the split EP with Fastard from scotland..shortly after that Kukucka joined in on the bass and the band was back together playing gigs..in this line up we recorded,I think,the best material dread 101 did for the split EP with Pragues VIR and 2 songs on a czech HC punk comp called Dying Alive,Living dead..dread 101 played over 100 concerts over europe during their existence.
