MARY MOOOON!! She's a Vegetarian! ......She don't eat meat, but she sure likes the bone! Love it or Hate it, "New Age Girl" is one of the biggest songs of the last decade plus. And to be joined at the hip with, in our opinion, the best Jim Carrey movie of all time, "Dumb and Dumber", is a nice piece of history for us as well. All because of you. Thanks for that. It means the world to us. The fans are simply everything. And a big big big thanks to Brad from Oceanside, California for getting this page rollin for us. Brad is our Ambassador of goodwill and positive vibe. He's friend 1. So after two official album releases, and the "Dumb and Dumber" soundtrack, plus upwards of 40 "best-songs-of-the-era" compilations around the world, and millions of sales later ... we meet again. Sorry it took so long, but the OFFICIAL DEADEYE DICK PAGE is finally up and we have some really interesting news for you fans out there. Besides the first record, "Different Story", and the follow-up "Whirl" (which rocks! by the way), we will let you all in on a secret only the band knows about. HERE IT IS: Deadeye Dick recorded a third record called "In Effect Groovy" that is stuffed full of the same type of powerpop-crank-the-windows-down-and turn-it-the-hell-up-slammin-all-the-way-downtown-don't-turn-off-the-car-till-the-song's-over kinda music that New Age Girl brought you. The three of us in Deadeye Dick decided it was time to put some love in the air. Get back to good old fashion sing-at-the-top-of-your-lungs music. So we crafted 14 of the best groovin-shake-your-butt no-rules, no-cares, unapologetic rockin singalongs from the swamps of good old New Orleans by way of the British Invasion and all it's glory, and gave the project the undeniably spot-on title "In Effect Groovy". Now fast forward a few years...A funny, tragic, and beautiful thing happened since we recorded "In Effect Groovy". Her name was Hurricane Katrina. After the storm, while cleaning up the city and homes and studios full of debris, We ran across the old master recording of "In Effect Groovy". Survived it did! We are selling it online. You guys tell us if you dig it. It brings us all back to the days of touring the world, playing our hearts out every night, rockin the house everywhere we went, and waking up and doing it all again. Something about being in the middle of Madrid Spain and having every person in the audience smiling, dancing, and singing along in English with every word of every song, makes you damn proud of the love and energy that music brings. And that made coming home to playing in America all that much sweeter. So listen to New Age Girl like we all know you will, but then give the other four songs a listen.
