DEAD Famous International is a boutique label and artist development and management company based in Australia with representatives in the US, UK Canada and Europe and has been set up for the express purpose of acting as a development label to package industry ready artists with the right tools to release, distribute and market locally throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Rim. In addition we focus primarily on presenting our artists to both third party licensing companies in Film, Television and Advertising platforms across the globe. To this end DEAD Famous Artists launched its new website and online storefront in May 2007 and to date has attracted over 5.5 million users to the site. To date the label and its affiliates, Astral Records & Music, MPM Artist Management and DEAD Famous International have generated just over 11.5 million hits worldwide and is steadily increasing its popularity each month. DEAD Famous Artists has a respected world wide network of partners in the global scene and believes in the creation of strategic alliances to strengthen its market position and create a greater network of exposure for the artists signed to its roster. The labels strengths are its people and its commitment to passion. All members of its working personnel are musicians, composers, producers or ex A&R dudes of one sort or another and this shows a distinctive understanding of today’s typical artist mentality and how to best shape their careers.
We are here to create, source and develop opportunities for artists and this is why we are multi genre oriented and are openly looking for all different styles and types of artists to sign. Our definitive edge is to take fledgling artists with the talent to greater levels of world wide exposure by plugging them into an existing platform of television, feature film, advertising and new digital media properties which already are distributed to over (64) countries around the world. The aim is to use our artist material for theme tracks, TV openers, movie trailers, content based sports clips and other youth focused visual properties like high end 3D animation for both traditional broadcast and online web streaming with our many international partners from around the world.

With the current strained economic climate making the business even more competitive than before it has become necessary to really streamline the label and only concentrate on working with artists that already have strong stories and FAN bases. Without these essential attributes we believe that the act has literal or no hope in impacting the market. With this said we have changed our A&R submission policy to ensure that only the highest quality material is presented to the executives of the company.
