About Dead For Twenty Days

Driven by a desire to innovate and impress, DFTD blends frantic drum beats, aggressive riffs and powerful vocals with technical precision and delivers it all with exceptional intensity on the stage. Don't expect anything generic from this Montreal based hardcore band, they strive to defy the musical norm by breaking pattern and tempo and abandoning the traditional arrangement method. The live set is all about presence, with much emphasis on transfering the intense, disordered, and often destructive rage found in the music to the stage, DFTD brings the true meaning back to the word 'show'. Their first release, a 5 song EP entitled 'There We Shall Sing Their Names' injects new blood into the veins of heavy music.
