Honesty in the world is dead and truth is so frail that if you bend it in any way it becomes a lie.
In 2002, Brian Cramer, an experimental composer, met Chris Shortt, an industrial vocalist, at a PIGFACE concert. They soon discovered that they had the same musical interests and goals and decided to form a project. Cramer was already working on an esoteric soundscape project called Serum Fantis, with Luke Grochocki. Grochocki a visual artist who was bringing representation into music was immediately brought into the fold. Joining forces they started experimenting with the gear and DFH was born. Always seeking new sound innovations as well as other collaborators sought new members. In time K. Novak and Chelsie Davis came into the fold. With their new found sonic sculpture power DFH forged ahead developing their dark symphonic industrial sound. Their live performances echo their occult interests which simulate the atmosphere of strange rituals.
DFH has played a couple of shows across the Houston landscape and shared the stage with the bands Erase the Virus, Asmodeus X & more.
