The members of Dead Gentlemen grew up on classic 80's fantasy shlock, including The Sword and the Sorcerer, Conan, Deathstalker, Barbarian Queen, and various z-grade offerings from Troma, not to mention the genius of Monty Python's Flying Circus.
Add in a healthy diet of Dungeons and Dragons, fantasy novels, and early computer RPGs, and you get irrevocably warped minds.

Dead Gentlemen Productions is a film company based in the beautiful Pacific Northwest outside of Seattle. The Dead Gentlemen began as a group of lovelorn single men bemoaning the loss of traditional values of Chivalry and general Gentlemanly conduct in modern-day society. Rather than sitting around complaining, they decided to do something with their time and the feature film Demon Hunters was born. After a few thousand dollars investment and several months of hard work, the film was received with great acclaim and a sequel was born. As Demon Hunters: Dead Camper Lake neared completion, it became apparent to the group that this was more than just a hobby and that the collective creative teamwork of the Dead Gentlemen was resulting in a unique film style that far outdoes many studio-produced films, in storytelling and creativity if not technical quality. DGP decided to formalize their relationship and began the long and arduous process of putting together an official business, a process which has been interrupted slightly by the continued efforts to make more films; most notably the shorts Revamping Doyle and The Gamers and the upcoming feature film, The Gamers: Dorkness Rising.
We got mentioned in this article due to our appearance at GameStorm this weekend in Portland, OR. Thanks to Scott C. Brown and Christian Doyle for repping us there.
The Gamers TV show is mentioned, and that IS a possibility. We would love to do it, but we need the financial support to get it off the ground. More on that soon.
I've known about Dorkness Rising for a few years and have wanted to see and I just got around to it today! Man it's the funniest movie I've seen in years!you got me rolling on the floor crying with laughter. I loved it so much your movies keep getting better and better! The best part was seeing the coffee shop down the street and my local game shop!
Once again we are planning to feature your movies at Chattacon on the cctv and in the main theater for the Independent Film presentations. I cant wait to see the reaction to Dorknesss Rising. We laugh out loud every time we see it.

Hey, just wanted to say thanks for the add. A friend of mine had me watch Gamers: Dorkness Rising, and now I'm saving up money to get all of your movies. -Travis
I was watching Dead Camper Lake and I couldn't help but feel that it is pretty much how all my games of Hunter The Reckoning, Vampire the Masquerade, and Werewolf the Apocalypse have all gone. Now I just need to find a way to put Syphilitic Ninja Vampires into Hunter the Reckoning for a better challenge.
Wow! What can I say that hasn't already been said...you guys absolutely rock! Thank you for the add. Best of luck to you in future endeavors...I look forward to seeing them! RogueMD
