The festival season is pretty much over. It's time to look back and start reflecting on what's been happening over the last few months. This week, we get the ball rolling with overviews of Bloodstock (from me) and Wacken (from IronLord). Next week's show starts getting into details of the events of the SOS Festival in Manchester. Of course this means massive amounts of excellent music (it's another 3 hour show, folks!) and a bit of between song rambling from my good self. To be honest, looking at the tracks I've put into this, it's a pretty damned good show this week. Give it a listen and let me know what you think. It's all there for you at http://www.wyrdwaysrs.com.
It's The Wyrd Ways Rock Show Bloodstock Filler edition! I was at Bloodstock over the weekend, so in honour of this, I’ll be playing something from the bands I was wanting to see at this year’s festival. I’ve also included the bands I interviewed. I Facebooked and tweeted over the weekend, as many of you know. If you haven't picked up my twitter feed yet, you'll find it at www.twitter.com/Thunarr.
As usual, the website is at http://www.wyrdwaysrs.com, where I am in the process of doing a big reorganization, including adding a news feed for any press releases or other interesting stories I come across.
If you want to get in touch with me to ask for a song, contribute a Lie Back And Enjoy It of your very own, or suggest a band for Shock Of The New, click on the E-mail or Contact Form links on the homepage. Remember you can also listen to the show by subscribing with iTunes by pasting itpc://wyrdways.podOmatic.com/rss2.xml into your browser’s address bar.
