Steven Collins, the Texas songwriter otherwise known as Deadman, captured a rare beauty and understated elegance rarely seen, in the album, Our Eternal Ghosts. Reminiscent of music from the days of Gram Parsons and The Band, the album is a brooding, ultimately uplifting testament to the belief that hope springs eternal.
DEADMAN's latest album "Severe Mercy" is available now online. They've got another one coming up right behind it called "Take Up Your Matt and Walk." Take a look at the shortfilm about the band, and their "Tale of Two Records."
We had an idea! As many of you know, our designs are often influenced by “Day of the Dead” imagery, and we thought it would be cool to do a celebration of the “Dia de los Muertos” holiday – along with Halloween for all of us gringos.
So here’s the idea – we dug through the archives and selected a bunch of designs (along with a few current ones) that have DOTD themes. Some of these designs haven’t been available in years. We’re offering them just for this celebration at a special price of $17.95 for T-shirts, $26.95 for Thermals, and $37.95 for Hoodies.
But we have to move quickly to have them on your doorstep in time for Halloween. This special lasts only until midnight this Thursday, October 8.
So click on this link for all the designs, http://somethingsacred.myshopify.com/collections/dia-de-los-muertos or check out some of them below and click on one you like. Many of them come in both men’s and women’s so make sure you have the right one.
As always, thank you so much for being a part of our “familia.”
