About Alex Deadman - Junglist Alliance - R8 Records
Alex Deadman lives in Sheffield and has done for quite some time. Currently working full time in the music and entertainment industry, his roles include: DJing, MCing, record label management, event management, music journalism, editing, graphic design, pr and social enterprise management. Junglist Alliance - Founded as a group project in the late ninties. Alex DJs/MCs and promotes under the JA banner alongside Tim Walker, Henry Firth and Kid Lib.
R8 Records / 17R8 Records - Alex is the co-owner and lable manager for R8 Records and the sister label 17R8 Records. These labels are run and owned with producer Rogue State who provides much of the music and design for these imprints.
ATM Worldwide Magazine - Alex has worked for the UK based international dance mag, ATM, since February 2006. His role at the mag is News Editor and Online Culture editor. I-Witness - Alex performs as a vocalist in the 11-piece reggae funk fusion band, I-Witness. Alex joined the band with fellow Junglist Alliance member, Tim Walker.
