Bio
Deadmoney duo is a father/son folk music band from Worcester. Cohen picked up his first instrument (violin) at the age of 6 and hasn't looked back since. He learnt his first folk dance tune at the age of 10 and loved it, this inspired him to join 'tunewrights' a young persons folk group. At tunewrights he learnt many more fantastic folk tunes. He came back from a tunewrights practice and asked dad peter if he could play the guitar chords (peter had played guitar and bass in a punk band in the later 70s and hardly played since) and on that day deadmoney duo was born. Since that day cohen has taken up many more instruments including melodeon, concertina, mandolin and harmonicas. The Deadmoney Duo began performing live in 2009 and since then have played at a number of festivals including Bromyard, Banbury, Garway, Worcester, Bridport, Broome Farm Cider Festival and Earthfest. ..
