Deadpool formed in 1998 by four friends who came to together to share their love for metal. Thier music incorporates elements of thrash, prog and death metal, blended with a heavy helping of southern doom thrown in the mix.
Made up of brothers Carlos & Michael Lopez on Guitar and Bass respectively, Chris Wolfe on Drums and Gordon Ireland on Vocals, the band has been "Spankin' Ears for 10 Years" on the South Texas music scene. Sharing the stage with many nationals such as: King Diamond, Mercyful Fate, Pissing Razors, Crowbar, Pro-Pain, & Soilent Green to name just a few.
1999 saw the release of the band's first CD entitled "Off The Deep End" which was met with critical acclaim. In 2003 they released "Espiritus Muertos" which seasoned the band's sound. In August, 2007 the guys released their most ambitious CD to date, "Idle Hands" which has been recieving rave reviews and had one hell of a release party to boot.
