Guess I was naive to think you'd be blogging forever. Good luck young Will.

loved the book, thanks for writing it.

buzz bissinger came off as a profoundly unhinged cross between david mamet and andy rooney. i hope someone sends him a copy of your book.

I'm really enjoying "God Save The Fan," but I'm afraid Patty Smyth (and, more alarmingly, her husband John McEnroe) would like a word with you regarding "The Warrior":

Hey, you know what's a good book? Friday Night Lights. Really showed some insight into the human condition. Guy who wrote that must have a level of insight, a degree of introspection, that would make him really interesting to talk to.

Wonder what happened to that guy?

I'm dying to know: Is Buzz Bissinger just as bitter and unlikeable in person as he seems on television? Here's to hoping he didn't try to sucker punch you backstage.

So I'm looking through an abandoned copy of a recent issue of ESPN the magazine and I spot a little insert of ESPN/BORDERS It is a list of the top 10 best selling sports books at the moment. What do I see at #5, Standing out from the rest of the list in bold red letters no less,
God Save the fan.
The Gods of ESPN must have kicked a puppy after having to print that. Or at least go watch a cockfight.

3 things:

1.) Excellent book
2.) Disappointed that there was no Austin, TX book signing
3.) Am currently watching CNN and they had a live look in for the Giants Super Bowl parade. The song being played at the time in NYC? Journey - Don't Stop Believin!
