Inspired by his dad's rendition of Wonderwall at the age of ten, Dean James became inseparable from his guitar and his passion for music has grown ever since. Today, he attends the British Academy of New Music in London and aspires to spend all of his time following his dream, playing his music to anyone who is prepared to listen.
Growing up surrounded by an eclectic mix of artists form the old school classics such as Hendrix and Zepplin to The Kooks and Razorlight and up and coming contemporaries such as the The King Blues, Dean's music is as he describes himself 'what I would like to hear on the radio, light-hearted music that anyone could enjoy listening to.' His lyric are inspired by his everyday life so people can easy relate to the message and ambiance of his songs.
His first single 'Love Train' was a great opportunity to record with the well respected producer Paul Tipler, who has worked with artist Placebo and The Charlatans. The story behind the single arose from a journey to London where he was lucky enough to sit next to a professional model in his words ' a babe' who preceded to show her portfolio and they hit it off. Unfortunately, the 'relationship' lasted no longer than the journey but all is not lost as it has inspired Dean's personal favourite song which he has chosen for his first release.
Dean James thanks anyone who has taken the time to listen and hopes you enjoy his music. If you would like to get in contact just leave a message.
