DEATH AMONG HEROES was formed in 2005. With band members coming and going, things just were'nt going their way. Patience must have paid off. After all the hard work these guys put into this music, DAH played there first show on March 4 '06 at Nation in DC with 100+ other bands from the tri-state area.....AND WON!! Following up with Director's Choice at a MUSICBOX battle of the bands, resulting in a good slot at FLIPSIDE FEST with Silverstein, Reliant K, Downtown Singapore (r.i.p.), LetterFIVE and many many more. Also, June of 06's Band of the Month for MUSICBOX promotions
Band Members Mike Miller and Buck Quade have been long time friends as well as bandmates (The Hurting Truth). Moe Owens and Dustin Hughes as well have been long time friends and bandmates (One Too Many). The first drummer was Joey Frosio, formerly of Count Your Blessings. He was with us through the rough beginning. Dylan Damron was next in line. He was long time friends with Moe and Dustin and is who is playing on the recordings. After Dylan parted we got Sean Piland, long time friend of all. And of course we can't forget, Who! Tony Barnes, our front man from the start. The members have come and gone and have went their own ways in life.... but the friendship and brotherhood remains.
Death Among Heroes has blown people away with their live show and stage presence like no other.
Death Among Heroes loved every one of their fans that supported them and their love for music... We lived just to play one note for you guys and we hope you enjoyed the shows and music as much as we did...with much love
