Deathbed Repentance is a new band from Seattle with a simple premise: With well written songs, memorable melodies and undeniable beats, deliver with an exciting, visually engaging show and people will respond.
Sange de Sade, the lead singer, is a self proclaimed ancestor of Donatien Alphonse François comte de Sade, known to the world as the Marquis de Sade, author of such dilectably debauched repast as "The 120 Days of Sodom". Exuding charisma, confidence, and a swagger that is equally androgynous and masculine, Sade sings with the intensity of a man destined for greatness with the added poise of a descendant of an eighteenth century nobleman. He is a libertine living within a rock star.
On guitar is Steve White, practically a living legend of the six strings.
On bass is Victor Meds, exceptionally talented and skilled with solidity of granite, with very effective backup vocals as well.
On drums is Eric Peterson, with impeccable time and precision from top to bottom, these grooves cannot be ignored.
Deathbed Repentance is the band fusing Rock, Gothic and Industrial that will stand out among countless imitators for it’s memorable melodies, lush harmonies, dead on beats and a look that ranges from modern fetish to retro death rock.
