About DEATH BY KITE

Emerging from the Copenhagen underground scene, hyped by a reputation of loud and manically introverted concerts and a sound that is a mesmerizing mix of popish, cathchy melodies soaked in a cocktail of noiserock and newwave, in April 2007 Death by Kite released their self tiitled debut-album.

The band has since then played numerous concerts, and has established themselves as a popular live act, and one of the best noisepop bands coming out of Scandinavia for years.

Now the next chapter of the story is being written as "Wave I", first in the "Wave" trilogy hits the streets Oct. 20th. 2008.

Jeres EP-trilogi er en genial idé, og jeg glæder mig ufatteligt meget til at wave III udkommer. jeg er vildt interesseret i hvad for nogle mennesker i er, da jeg selv bruger meget tid på den face i musikken som i har mestret siden i udgav jeres debutalbum. Det er en virkelig bevidst stildrejning, og i formår at skyde et ekstra niveau op på kvalitetstrappen. Jeg føler at jeres nye album er langt mere dyb og ærlig - Det er virkelig en kvalitet i jeres musik som skelner underholdning fra kunst, hvor det sidstnævnte selvfølgelig ligger i jer.
