The vox and guitar melodies of Kris O'Connor interweave with the guitar work of PJ Norman (Iamprimate, tKatKa) and the power-house rhythm section of Carlsson (delete it yourself, tseuq, tKatKa) and Mantovani (Montauk Projekt) to produce a hybrid shoegazing/punk sound .
Death by Sadie is essentially an underground super group collective framed around the talents of Kris O’Connor and aided and abetted by members of tKatka and The Montauk Projekt. ’Limited Edition’ is the ensemble's debut outing and a storming stellar soaring slice of swaggering shoe gaze drilled gritted dream pop it is to. Freebasing in the main on early Ride styled hollowing streamlined codas, this sugar laced florescent fancy is equipped with a pulsating driving dynamic at its core within which are housed blood lines tracing back to the fuzz laced bliss laden glazes of My Bloody Valentine, Dinosaur JNR and Moose (most notably ‘Jack’ and ‘boy’). Elsewhere there’s a full on ‘clean’ version and a radically overhauled mix by drum ‘n’ bass overlord Forma - better known to kith and kin as AJ Cookson in whose hands the original sound chassis is completely stripped to its factory setting and radically rebuilt and re-aligned with a floor crunching underpin that to these ears sounds not unlike Wagon Christ in a face off with Depeche Mode. Of course its all essential stuff as though you needed to ask.

The Documentus is upon us. Come Ye, Oh Come Ye to The Joiners Arms, Southampton. Be part of the magic within.
Let me explain! This is what it is all about, follow me, follow me, follow me......
D!X3 want to capture time! Specifically the time between 7pm GMT on Saturday 16th December to 2am the following morning. Wherever you are in the world we'd like you to write, draw, record, etch, paint, animate, photograph, sculpt, carve, embroider, sew, cross stitch, quilt; interpret in any way you see fit a moment, a feeling, a thought within the time frame.
The results of this Documentus will help form the video for the next single 'Salad Depot', as well as forming a global time line on the soon to be revealed shiny new website.
If you're asking yourself 'Why?', well Why Not? You might not know it makes sense yet, but it will.
If you make it to the event we'll give you plenty to document. We are turning the Joiners into our playground of joy. See the flyer on our myspace page for the full line up.
If you can't make the show you can still be part of the proceedings. Send your bottled time juice to deadx3@hotmail.co.uk, or email us for an address if you wish to post your deposit.
We have built a time machine and interviewed some of you on the night, here's what you said:
'I convulsed continually and am still foaming from my ears'. Nicholas Witchell - BBC Royal Correspondent
'I felt like Tony Hart on acid staring at the Royal Variety Performance through tinted glass surrounded by animals, both live and fabricated'. Sally Gunnel
'I feel humbled'. Mic Fleetwood
Merry Mitchmus Everybody
