One upon a time there were two boys called Tom and Harrison. Tom liked to play the keyboard and Harrison liked to play the bass guitar. Tom was dyslexic and Harrison was a receptionist. The formed a band called ‘Death By Wookiee’. It was a very silly name but the more ‘‘famous’’ the band got everyone forgot it was a silly name and concentrated on the music.
One day tom said ‘‘Do you want a cup of tea, or what?’’ Harrison said ‘‘yes pretty please’’. Harrison took his first sip of tea and an idea struck him like a plank of wood hitting a dead badger. ‘‘We need a drummer’’, exclaimed Harrison, who had a mild form of tourettes. ‘‘You what!’’ said tom and so it was decided that Death By Wookiee needed a drummer. The quest began the very next day.
They tried out fat drummers, thin drummers, old drummers, young drummers, dark haired drummers, tall drummers and some as small as your head. But they lacked a certain something. Tom and Harrison were about to give up and go eat some fish fingers, when suddenly a boy called Joe appeared from nowhere! Tom screamed like a yeti on heat and Harrison made a remark that make him seem sharp and witty but had in fact been stored in his brain for the longest time waiting for the opportunity to pop out.
Joe was a whole different type of drummer; he was dyslexic and ginger. So it would be decided that Joe would be Death By Wookie’s drummer. Joe swelled up with pride as he had been accepted and did not need to provide a written reference.
Death By Wookiee went on to have many exciting and rather odd adventures, some of which you may have taken part in, or not.
THE END.
