My children!!!
My daughter was born 3 months early at 2 lbs 7 ozs. From day 1 she was a fighter, she went above and beyond what the doctors had ever expected every step of the way. She went through numerous tests and therapies, but yet she always managed to be happy and put a smile on the face of all who know her. Now at the age of 5, she has caught up physically and developmentally with no lingering side effects. She's my "Little Miracle".
My son has Asperger's Syndrome...a high functioning form of Autism. He has gone to so very many doctors and therapists, tried so many drugs and has been misdiagnosed for years. I can't begin to imagine living in a world that no one else understood and not having the ability to express your frustrations. But despite all that he has remained a very sweet and loving little man. Always willing to help others and expecting nothing in return.
The world has much to learn from God's "special" children. They have taught me to live in the moment and love all the little "treasures" that life has to offer.
SLOW DOWN AND ENJOY THE JOURNEY!!!
About me: I'm a 29 year old mom of 2, that still likes to party. I listen to everything from Metal to Country, yes you read that correctly! I am my own person and don't follow fads. I can be your best friend or your worst enemy. Whatever you do...Don't try and impress me...I am more impressed by someone who's not afraid to be themself!!! It's better to be hated for who you are ,than loved for who you are not! Well, I guess that's me take it or leave it.
Sup Homey!! We made it home ok, and I am glad we got a chance to hang out again, I missed the hell out of you guys...Thanks again for EVERYTHING over the weekend, I had a blast...Hugs...Em
