Formados em meados de Abril de 2005, os Deathland são uma banda de Thrash/Speed Metal, resultado de influências musicais como Artillery, Slayer, Exodus, Kreator, Annihilator, Testament, Iced Earth, Pantera, Iron Maiden e Megadeth.
Em 2006 gravam a sua primeira demo "Devastation Begins", consistindo em 4 faixas essencialmente marcadas por um ritmo Thrash/Speed Metal, e mostra os primeiros registos destes jovens músicos. Com essa gravação, algumas portas foram abertas e após algum tempo de trabalho vários concertos foram agendados de norte a sul do país, a banda foi convidada para partilhar o palco com bandas nacionais como RAMP, Shadowsphere, Angriff, Dr.Salazar e com grandes bandas internacionais como Onslaught, Destruction, Primal Fear, Silent Force e Adagio.
O resultado não poderia ter sido melhor, alvo de críticas bastante positivas espera-se que o número de apoiantes continue a crescer.

In 2006, their first demo "Devastation Begins" was recorded, consisting in 4 tracks marked by Thrash/Speed Metal rhythm, and shows the first music registrations of these young musicians. With this recording, some doors were opened, and after some working time, several concerts were scheduled from north to south of the country. The band was invited to share stage with bands like RAMP, Shadowsphere, Angriff, Dr.Salazar and with international bands like Onslaught, Destruction, Primal Fear, Silent Force and Adagio.
The result couldn't be better, and with so much positive feedback it is hoped that the number of supporters keep on growing.
