Hail and was born in the land of headhunters, Kuching, Sarawak. Formed around the year of 2006. The line up consist Cgat (Vox), Ddek (Drums), Sai (Bass), Jang (Guitar), and Victor (Guitar).
Niang stands for "Souls of the Dead" in Iban (one of Sarawak's tribe)
In the midst of 2006, with the messy line up where Jang decided to left the band and joined Obsolete. Almost half of the year, the band is slowdown due to the matters and further circumstances.
In 2007, Victor also decided to left the band and joined Mentally Murdered as a bassist. Due to the matter, Sai has to switched to guitar from bass to replaced Victor. Later, the bass position was handled by Willy where he decided to play with the band. Until now, the remaining line up of the band are Cgat (Vox), Sai (Guitar), Willy (Bass). Niang had played in a 'Heaven And Hell' mini gig together with other bands such as Keruntuk, Sense O Veira, Death Krolbt and others to name a few.
On the same year, Niang had recorded their promo demo which includes 3 own tracks: Rotted Methodically, Begged To Hell and Human Cruel lest at the Groove Republic Studio.
The band is most influences by bands such as Morgoth, Napalm Death, Death, Kreator, Vader, Morbid Angel, Sepultura, Hypocrisy, Deicide and many more bands.

alo bro, battle of the band di kanowit pada 27 ogos 2009. yuran penyertaan rm50. 2 buah lagu.. lagu melayu (wajib) & lagu bebas.. penyertaan ditutup pukul 3 p.m. pada tarikh tersebut.. tempat: pentas pesta kanowit. jam: 8 p.m. hadiah berupa wang tunai, trofi & sijil penyertaan..
