This album has healing powers. Even when I'm tired of listening to other music, Dawnbringer is always refreshing, like an oasis when wandering the desert.
How does an album so short, so seemingly simple, continue to unfold and expand over time, like the secret blooming of some hellish flower?
I've played In Sickness for pretty much everyone I know who listens to metal, but only a few of them have really latched onto it like I have. I think it has to do with musical diversity; it's impossible to appreciate the maturity of the album without first having lots of experience listening to the genres of music that it draws from.
Simply amazing. Some of the most original stuff i've heard in a long time. Blake sold me the new album on the Nachtmystium/Watain tour......and I think it is probably one of the best purchases i've made all year. Cheers. Keep it up.
I've come to the decision that In Sickness And In Dreams has a place in both my Top Ten Of All Time and my Desert Island Albums lists. Also, I guess I might as well just spell it out, if I only had one album to listen to for the rest of my days, this would most likely be it.
