The Deathrock Canada Meet-Up Group is a platform and a place to meet, Share ideas, Help, Information and passion for Old school Goths/GothRockers, Deathrockers, Batcavers, Positivepunk, Post-punkers, Deathpunks/Darkpunks etc... and all friendly related interests who's live in Canada,Of course, people from other countries are welcome as well.
We host and organise Party / Gigs / Events from time to time, We are not a compagny...Just a bunch of music maniac.
Deathrock was a specific kind of music in the 80's, Those day its the term many of us use to differentiate ourselves (the underground) from the mainstream bullshit that encompasses the Gothic scene as a whole.

We hope to encourage others to discover or re-discover the music and the real roots of goth sub-culture.We hope one day we will can enjoy what we like here at Canada!
We collaborate with promoters, Radio shows, Record shops and DJ's here and all around the world, and it would be a pleasure to help promote your band,Evening etc... Absolutely NO!!! techno, future pop, EBM, IDM, Nu-metal or whatever-you-wanna-call-it "beepy" music that *passes* for "goth" these days.
There is enough of that all over the clubs and in the mainstream, so we don't need to bring it here.There is more to goth than vampires, fairies and satan, if that's all you have on your profile I will deny your request, please don't be surprised or angry. Also, bear in mind that Cradle of Filth are not a goth band, and neither are VNV Nation. Thanks!
