   About Deathpodal
Deathpodal is a solo music project by someone called Al Doesn't Like You Anymore.

Named after a failing and almost defunct entertainment capsule, he played his first show in Stavanger, Norway in 2003. Deathpodal has just completed recording Exu____Wow! his debut EP, due for release 2009. If you want to get in contact simply send a message or leave a comment.

Deathpodal has supported the likes of Hookers Green No. 1, Circulus, Paul Research (The Scars), Uncle John & Whitelock, Boy Lacks Patience, Smithwork, Pete McConville, Las Gambas Pil Pil, Amber, Dumkoppf and The Jinx. He has been in Dumbracket, The Martha Dumptruck Massacre, Masamune and Fighterplanes.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Deathpodal - man, mystery or soon-to-be living legend? There are many theories, but either way its clear that he is a sublimely talented artist whose music has a fragile beauty perfectly suited for a live setting. Whether its a transcendent triumph or a muddy swamp-soup of madness, his comeback is sure to be fascinating." - Michael MacLennan, The Herald

"I am a proprietor of muzak, and I concur the music is good. Transcendent. Like revisting Picasso's blue period. I appreciate Deathpodal's candour." - Paul Pable

Deathpodal does not condone the Murdoch empire but is a hypocrite.

Your newest tune is a 'kin TUNE, by the way. Been a while since I passed through. Hope you aren't getting into too much coup-organising or human trafficking and the likes.

I am doing ok, just shuffling on I guess! Definitely not visiting the damn exciting places you are! You still based in Edinburgh? Or is your main office now a small island in the pacific? Death Island, population Al?

Have a great trip, all the best

That's cool, glad to hear you're well. Japan's a country I've always wanted to visit; they seem to be about 50 years ahead of the rest of the world, and the people appear to be on the cutting edge of complete insanity.

I'm okay. My hopelessly amateurish drumming still adorns the music of a couple of Edinburgh bands, so that's okay, I guess. All pretty much status quo at the moment. Maybe see you when you get back.

Yeah, new track is the best one yet, I say.

Got the files from Steve, and they're now in the capable hands of Wes and Paul... we'll see what comes out. Steve was disappointed we didn't want to use his services and the "analog warmth" of his "half a million pounds" mixing desk. Ah well.

Cheers man, hope you have a good fest too... I heard there was an NHS-fail. Sorry to hear it man!

Laters.
