This is my solo page. On my recordings, you hear some of the finest musicians around: Ron Levy (keys), Tony Bray (synth, sax), Wayne Wayne (sax, flute), Jim Bybee (guitars, sequences and engineering), Avery Burdette (keys), John Merola (drums), John Carbone (drums), Franz Pusch (percussion and engineering), Brian Wright (acoustic bass as neccessary), Jim Schubert (on the mando) and of course, John Alden (guitars, bass, sequencing, engineering and production).

Sounds Like
Joan Baez and Holly Near is what I hear from folks. But depending on what I'm doing, I get a lot of Bonnie Raitt and Grace Slick too. Even Joni Mitchell. High praise all around. I think I sound like me.
I've been writing music for, and leading music, for New Thought Churches for over 10 years now. Songs like Grateful and One Life are sung at New Thought churches throughout the country. If you're interested in sheet music for congregational songs, please let me know.
Currently, you can visit us and our tremendous band at The Center for Spiritual Renewal in Garden Grove California. The band there consists of Llew Matthews (music director for Nancy Wilson), Ernie Nunez (grammy winner for his work with Brian Setzer), Mark Gutierrez and Gary Gibbons...and of course me and my musical partner in crimes FOR humanity, Kris Shelton.
Before and in addition to that, I've been singing and playing guitar in southland bands for over 30 years.
