Hello, and welcome to my photography page! I used to do things like help edit a folk magazine, and write articles & reviews for both printed & web-based magazines, but now I'm in love with my photography (and lots of other things besides of course!). There's nothing nicer than getting out there with the camera, then coming home to work on the photos! I love nature and landscape photography best of all, but also really enjoy the challenge of working in low light, especially at folk gigs, drama and literary events, and at festivals. I'll happily consider commissions, just get in touch and we can discuss!

I dropped by to see changes you announced on your profile, I remember my enjoyment for the sheep picture, I'm glad to see it again after re-process.
I think a few more pics on this page wouldn't be too much ;)

My Dad used to take 3 pictures on different stops to be sure to get a good shot, but never combined them. He was using a hand held light meter in those days, mind you.

Cropredy was fabulous, if a little tiring on our old bones! Weather was tremendous - very sunny, very hot. A curious mix of music, with the Fairport set being the highlight, especially the 6 songs by Yusef/Cat Stevens. With the crowd shouting for "Father & Son", he was so relaxed saying "please don't ask for that one . . . we haven't rehearsed it", and went on to play a stunning version of "Peace Train". Personally he was our highlight (although Ralph McTell was marvellous and a blistering set from Richard Thompson). We didn't do any playing, but did drink a lot, slept very little and survived on cheese/ham toasties and burgers. Altogether a wonderful time . . . we've come back to have a rest. Met some lovely new people and caught up with some internet friends - remarkable 3 days!
Hope you're well and life is treating you well, hugs - Carolyn & Mark xx
