what is debbie's thing? i'm debbie. i play cello, guitar, write songs, and sing. this is my music sight. i am one of those rare folks who was born and raised in vegas. i have had instruments around me my whole life and sang as i did everything when i was little. we had a piano that i played on until i was 7, and then my mom gave me violin lessons. in 7th grade, i fell in love with the cello, and we are still together to this day! my dad always had guitars lying around, so it was very familiar to me. in my freshman (and only) year at loyola in new orleans i took a required guitar class, and the songwriting began! i love lyrics and interesting chords. my style varies and can be haunting, silly, smooth, and thoughtful. i have been compared to many people, including joni mitchell, alanis morrisette, joan baez, and your mom! i personally don't think i sound like any of them! i am working on my 2nd album, and will be posting songs as i go. so far it's just rough mixes. the bass player i'm working with is kevin andreason. he also plays the charlie hunter 8 string guitar in the band 'superstar bingo'. they rock. he really adds demension to my songs. the drummer is also from 'superstar bingo'. his name is robert burns. he rocks too! i hope you like them. check back for new stuff, and check out my personal sight. another song is playing there. enjoy the music, enjoy life! **********
if you happen to listen to the 3rd song, Feeling Unordinary, that is off my first album Sessions From the Floor. That's my friend Mark Hokenson on bass, Ken Mowry on percussion, me on the other stuff. **********
debbie's deep thought: bow to the stirring that most ignore, and then your savior will be on his knees... ***

So here we are. Thanksgiving is over. Christmas is on the horizon. I am going to get ready for Christmas with Annette and will not be playing out. I have a surgery i need to get done and it will keep me on another mind path until the middle of march so this is what you have to do. You have to play out and share your delightfulness with people who have never heard you before. This town has too many pretenders doing music for non creative reasons. You are pure and sweet and genuine. If you were a food you would be better than chocolate. so spread the musical love. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year... John
, LOVE starts with a SMILE, grows with a KISS, and ends with a TEAR. DON'T cry over anyone who won't cry over you. Good FRIENDS are hard to find, harder to leave, and impossible to forget. You can only go as far as you push. ACTIONS speak louder than words. The HARDEST thing to do is watch the one you love, love somebody else. DON'T let the past hold you back, you're missing the good stuff. LIFE'S SHORT. If you don't look around once in a while you might miss it. A BEST FRIEND is like a four leaf clover, HARD TO FIND and LUCKY TO HAVE. Some people make the world SPECIAL just by being in it. BEST FRIENDS are the siblings God forgot to give us. When it HURTS to look back, and you're SCARED to look ahead, you can look beside you and your BEST FRIEND will be there. TRUE FRIENDSHIP "NEVER" ENDS. Friends are FOREVER. Good friends are like STARS You don't always see them, but you know they are ALWAYS THERE. DON'T frown. You never know who is falling in love with your smile. What do you do when the only person who can make you stop crying is the person who made you cry? Nobody is perfect until you fall in love with them. Everything is okay in the end. If it's not okay, then it's not the end. Most people walk in and out of your life, but only FRIENDS leave footprints in your heart. Send this to all the people that are really your friend including the person that sent this to you. If you get five back that makes you a true friend ♥""
I had so much fun last night. Your songs have all the delightful qualities of playing in the park on a sunday afternoon. Running on the grass, staring at polywogs in little pools of water. We loved your set. Your guitar sounded great too......
