Montréal native Debbie Tebbs is one of the only female DJ’s that stand out the most on the worldwide electronic stage. Every week, thousands of people dance to the beat of her ever evolving musical style. Debbie Tebbs has nothing to envy regarding her peers since she is acclaimed everywhere she spins (Club 1234, Red Lite, Circus, Sky, Dagobert, Maurice, Living, Beach Club and other prestigious clubs such as the Liquid Room in Edinburgh, Scotland, during the famous “Taste” event).
Dubbed by the Quebec media for several years as the female icon of House Music, Debbie Tebbs doesn’t only do dance clubs: she spends the majority of her time between studios and clubs since she is also a composer and producer. She has collaborated with several artists such as Joy Kitikonti (UMM, BXR), Kolombo - Loulou Players (Definitive, Turbo), Sami Dee (DeepSound Records), Luisa Pepe (La Chapelle/Select), Éric Nolin (Musicor/Select), Cantelli (La Chapelle/Select) and many more. She also shared the stage with such great names as Tiga, Benny Benassi, David Guetta, Martin Solveig, MC Mario, Suzanne Palmer and has participated in several radio and television shows to share her vision of electronic music to the public (BPM TV, Radio-Canada, CKOI, Énergie).
Today the career of Debbie Tebbs takes a major turn, as she has signed on with music label La Chapelle Records, who will produce 2 CD’s a year – she will also become the official DJ of the label and the first female DJ in Quebec to produce a series of compilation albums for the public. The first album entitled “House Factory” will be released in the Spring of 2009 and will be a sure fire factory of hits selected and mixed by Debbie Tebbs.
Constantly on the lookout for new and exclusive material, Debbie Tebbs stands out with the quality of her mixing, her graceful technique, her on-stage persona and the capacity to create an ambiance that is desired by all.
