DESPERATE!! PLEASE HELP!!!These are the "BEMIS"evidence dogs.They were taken away from a man for hording and abuse.2 years have gone by...Now he is convicted and these dogs who in some cases have never had even 1 day of freedom,are finally free to be adopted..Problem is,they have been forgotton,no one remembers.The media covered them 2 years ago.I have met and gotton to know many of these dogs personally,THEY ARE AMAZING!!!!So SWEET....
But sadly the day had to end. The tails that wagged just moment earlier now suddenly tucked again between their legs.
The happy smiling faces washed away to be replaced by fear and deep sadness as they were being caged up to be loaded up to the truck and go back to the scary isolation of the Baldwin shelter, a place they have called home for the last 2 years.
Given that these are dogs seized for cruelty, we can only imagine the suffering they endured while living in a hoarding situation...YET they remain AMAZINGLY SWEET.
PLEASE help these forgotten dogs. EACH AND EVERYONE OF THEM IS AMAZINGLY SWEET AND GENTLE.

My purpose in joining My Space is to find and network with like-minded people that love animals. Below are the goals and the reason why I created the foundation “K9 Compassion.” Ultimately I want to start a “rescue friendly” assisted living home for the elderly (someday a whole community).
1. To raise public awareness & end the gross exploitation and fighting of pitbulls & other “black listed” dog types.
2. To educate the public, in order that they may have a better understanding of the extreme urgency in the need to pass a mandatory spay and neuter law in ALL our cities and counties across California, and end backyard breeding.
3. To get the money necessary (and new ideas) to SUCCESSFULLY ENFORCE the laws regarding this.
4. To create a “MOVEMENT” through our “role models” in our communities & world wide, in a joint effort to introduce “K9 COMPASSION” and our love.The value of our dogs. We have become de-sensitized to their feelings of suffering and their pain, as much as underprivileged, ignored and abused kids and elderly. These people may be going through the same torture as many of these dogs. WE ARE THEIR VOICE…..THEY HAVE NO CHOICE…..Perhaps, we can heal together…… Please turn your compassion into a passion and join me and my foundation in making a difference.

This elderly lady went to hospital for surgery... Put dog in kennel. She had to stay 7 weeks in hosp.
She paid mostly everything but 200. Dog was not to be released. She then paid that amount, but bill went up. She paid $1,500 to kennel, now 2 months later kennel still won't release but also says she owes $2,000 now. The dog has been there over 3 months. No bath. Now has large cyst, getting bigger. The old dogs spirit is being broken living in small cage with no walks. This dog is used to being spoiled, the kennel will not even let the owner look at dog through window!!
