About me:
MARCH 2009... Check out "Reflexology: It's all in the feet" in this month's "Living & Being" (Poughkeepsie Journal)-- There's a nice feature about reflexology that mentions yours truly.....WARNING: You will be spoiled mercilessly. I offer foot and face reflexology and reiki, and can combine the three for an appointment tailored to your needs. And I use organic lotions, a lavender pack, and warm towels for a truly blissful experience....
Your reflexology appointment will feel like a yummy foot massage, but here's a quick way to explain the difference between simple massage and reflexology: Have you ever seen the deposits and crud that can build up on your shower head? The same thing happens in your body's reflexes when there is disorder -- even at the cellular level. I will be using reflexology techniques to remove those deposits ("crunchies") so that your body can self-heal. And face reflexology is also very therapeutic, but the REAL reason people book it is because they look rejuvenated afterward.
NOTE: I am not a doctor and I urge you to discuss adding reflexology to your current treatment with your doctor or health practitioner. Also, as with any medical situation, there are some conditions that are CONTRAINDICATIONS to reflexology. Please contact me so that we may discuss your situation in detail.
While I do not diagnose, and reflexology is not intended as a substitute for a visit to your health care provider, my clients have had consistent relief from
a wide range of conditions, ranging from diabetes management (with consistent drops in A1C levels), headaches, sciatica, allergies, sinus issues, digestive problems, plantar fasciitis, general stress, depression, insomnia, TMJ....the list goes on. ALSO....I'm not claiming it's me, but THREE of my clients who were having fertility issues are now pregnant or are new mommies...
The National Institutes of Health have been studying the effects of reflexology on such

NYC House Calls are $85. The rate is slightly higher for remote parts of Manhattan. Appointments at my location in Woodstock (actually, Saugerties) are $60. I'm also offering a 3-session series at my location for $150, which you may share with someone else.
